Enterprise Community Partners is the largest and coolest non-profit you have never heard of! They work primary in the low-income housing space and do a lot of good for the world. I had an excellent time working for this company and had wonderful support during my short time there.
I had the opportunity to work on a short 6 month contract with Enterprise Community Partners while I was still in IT school. I am so grateful for that opportunity! The project was to move both the public site and the internal intranet from a propitiatory content management system to Drupal 8. My job title was Web Content Technician but I had the chance to learn and do so much more with fixing broken code and creating custom styling.
The site is huge. Truly, it was a giant project and I cannot even remember how many pages there were to migrate. One of the biggest problems was that when the pages were dumped into Drupal, many of the styles were broken especially in mobile view. I worked diligently on repairing these pages and creating a new look for them, some examples are in the gallery attached.
This was my first job in the web development world and it allowed me play an important part in this migration. I was able to demonstrate my creative problem solving skills and and enhance the user’s experience across all platforms.
I have examples below of some of the work I did and the site is live and can be found at enterprisecommunity.org.
