I joined this group in 2022 and took on the task of redesigning their website. The existing website didn’t adequately represent the essence of a “design group.” The redesign is currently underway and is set to launch for the 2023-2024 season.

I wanted to do something very edgy and look like “dark mode.” The pink neon color of the logo inspired the neon color palette, complemented with weird geometric shapes.

The project timeline was incredibly tight, spanning roughly a month, if not less. I managed to revamp the design without straying too far from their original colors and branding. However, a more feminine touch was incorporated as per request. Additionally, I developed an affiliate program and established a comprehensive wholesale & distributor storefront.

This website represents the most technically complex e-commerce platform I’ve built from the ground up. It features an array of custom meta boxes, post types, and dynamic elements. Furthermore, I penned a significant amount of PHP code to achieve specific customizations.

The Green Nurse is based in the Boston suburbs. The business focuses on providing health, well-being, and educational services. The business has a wide scope of services and the hope for the new website is for them to expand the business and to be a resource for the cannabis community.

Recently, The Green Nurse merged with international cannabis education company Holistic Caring. Holistic Caring provides education for patients, continuing education credits and training for health care professionals, and a lifeline to cannabis dispensaries that wish to server their clients’ medical needs. Holistic Caring truly bridges the gap between traditional and cannabis medicine.

With this merger, The Green Nurse can focus on medical cannabis cards and patient coaching while Holistic Caring targets educational support. It is an amazing partnership.

In addition to organizing their educational information, robust site also is an e-commerce platform.

This is site is used using ACF & Anywhere Elementor but I am transitioning to Crocoblocks/Jet Engine.

The objective was to construct a custom WordPress site with a tailor-made backend to facilitate effortless content control.

This singular site will cater to all three locations, allowing each to have dedicated pages tailored to their unique requirements.

I successfully infused their color palette, branding, and ethos into a livelier and more interactive platform. With custom layouts, their site distinctly stands out. For the site’s administrators, I’ve equipped the backend with custom fields, streamlining the content updating process.”
